Usa-se uma palheta (feita de cana, que vibra com a passagem &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color: red; font-size: large;"&gt;do ar), produzindo som.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color: red; font-size: large;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Barrilhete: dá algum tamanho ao clarinete. É usado para a afinação. Denner colocou as 2 chaves de tal modo que uma delas (chamada “chave de registo”) possibilitou o aumento da tessitura do clarinete para aproximadamente 3 oitavas. &lt;br /&gt;Em 1710, Jacob Denner, filho de Johannn, efetuou várias experiências na colocação das chaves descobrindo posições que permitiam atingir registos mais agudos e uma melhor afinação. &lt;br /&gt;Por volta de 1740 foi introduzida a terceira chave e em 1778 o clarinete standard tinha já 5 chaves. É extraordinário imaginar a agilidade e virtuosismo do instrumentista a quem coube a missão de executar tais obras, considerando a complexidade dinâmica, tímbrica e cromática das mesmas, por um lado, e as limitações técnicas de um instrumento com apenas 5 chaves. Mozart compos o concerto e quinteto para seu amigo e companheiro de Maçonaria, Anton Stadler. O registro grave do clarinete era o que mais agradava Mozart, que frequentemente o comparava à beleza da voz humana.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &lt;img alt="anton stadler" height="200" src="http://www.clarinetemania.com/imagens/fotos%20bios/antonStadler.jpg" width="130" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;span style="color: yellow;"&gt;silhueta de Anton Stadler&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;span style="color: yellow;"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;span style="color: red;"&gt; O clarinete de 5 chaves manteve-se como standard até princípios do séc. 19, época em que Ivan Muller introduziu lhe importantes modificações, de tal ordem que é por muitos considerado como o verdadeiro pai do clarinete moderno. &lt;br /&gt;Ivan Muller, nascido na Russia, fixou-se por volta de 1809 em Paris, cidade onde se situavam os principais fabricantes de instrumentos em madeira da época. Começa então a introduzir alterações na construção do clarinete, desenvolvendo intrincados mecanismos de chaves, permitindo combinações técnicas que de outro modo só seriam possíveis com recurso a dedos suplementares. &lt;br /&gt;Muller apresentou o seu “invento” (um clarinete com 13 chaves) no Conservatório de Música de Paris em 1815, e foi completamente rejeitado. O nome origina-se do grego “aulos”, (nome de um importante instrumento de sopro da Grécia antiga) e chrome (cromático, colorido). Seu mecanismo possibilita que se toque os tubos juntos ou separadamente em toda a extensão. Também permite qualquer intervalo polifônico entre os tubos, assim pode-se tocar a nota mais grave de um tubo e a mais aguda de outro simultaneamente. Em diversas culturas antigas são encontrados instrumentos cujo processo de produção do som é o mesmo que o da clarineta, são os chamados instrumentos de palheta simples, por possuirem uma única palheta que vibra e produz o som através de um tubo.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Por volta do ano 2700 A.C já era encontrado no Egito instrumentos como o iarghul, a zummara e o midjweh. Denner acrescentou ao chalumeau&amp;nbsp; uma chave na parte superior traseira, que possibilitou ao instrumento atingir um registro agudo. Estava criada a clarineta. Essa característica possibilita à clarineta possuir a maior tessitura entre os instrumentos de sopro, de quase 4 oitavas. Karl Stamitz e Georg Fuchs compuseram concertos para integrantes da famosa Orquestra de Manheim na década de 1780. Esses concertos demonstravam a grande facilidade com que os executantes podiam passar do registro grave ao agudo, porém a afinação e progressões cromáticas eram ainda grandes desafios. A Requinta em Ré é antiga e incomum hoje em dia.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Clarineta Soprano (clarineta padrão) – o mais comum – geralmente afinado em C(Dó),Bb(Sib),A(Lá)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Clarineta Basset – Em A (lá) – muito usado em concertos para clarinete em lá, sobretudo no concerto de Mozart e quinteto de Mozart, este clarinete atinge notas de mais graves além do registro usual da clarineta padrão.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Cor de basset ou Corno Basseto – espécie de clarinete em Fá, tem o corpo ligeiramente diferente (curvo ou angular), muito usado por Mozart, mas caiu em desuso, apesar de ter sido usado por R. Strauss em Elektra, por exemplo.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Clarineta Alto – Em Eb (Mib) – 1 quinta mais grave que o soprano&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Clarinete Baixo ou Clarone – Em Bb (Sib) – 1 oitava mais grave que o soprano&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Clarinete Contra-Alto ou Clarone Contra-Alto – Em Eb (mib), 1 quinta mais grave que o Clarone e 1 oitava mais grave que a clarineta-alto&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Clarinete Contra-Baixo ou Clarone Contra-Baixo Modelo Leblanc – Em Bb (Sib), clarinete em metal, 2 oitavas mais grave que o soprano&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Clarinete Contra-Baixo ou Clarone Conra-Baixo Modelo Selmer – Em Bb (Sib), clarinete com o dobro do tamanho do seu parente de metal, clarinete em ébano comum, 2 oitavas mais grave que o soprano.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Clarinete OctoContra-Baixo – Em Bb (Sib) – Clarinete extraordinário, em metal, 3 oitavas abaixo do soprano, altura física: 2,76m&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: white;"&gt;O mais comum como foi dito acima, é o soprano em Bb(Sib) e A(Lá), com 16 ou 17 chaves.
